US trip 2010 special: Serendipity and Breakfast at Las Vegas

About the food:

After a very exhausting and rubber sole burning walk across Las Vegas, we rested and took at look at the famous dessert place there called Serendipity. I think it was named such because this was one of the places where the movie Serendipity was shot.

In the menu above, they have golden opulence sundaes (with real gold flakes) which make it really expensive. We could not order this one, it was ridiculously expensive. Hence we opted to go for their frozen hot chocolate drink (in the picture below).

The drink made us comfortable amidst the blazing heat. However, there was nothing extraordinary about the taste. Perhaps we should have tried something else.

Moving on, we had breakfast again at Las Vegas downtown, we tried the oxtail soup above (which tasted quite similar to our native bulalo.

We also tried the fried chicken..

and the steak..
